Not Just a Temporary Solution

Vegetative cover is the first line of defense and the ideal solution for controlling erosion — roots keep soil in place and slopes from failing. Stabilizing soil with vegetative cover, particularly on slopes and in channels often requires supporting elements to improve germination and/or to support root structures temporarily or permanently. Occasionally in high-flow channels vegetation isn't enough, and hard armoring is required. We offer solutions in each of these categories.

Stabilization Solutions
Erosion Control Blankets, Flexible Growth Mediums and Turf Reinforcement Mats solve slope and channel stabilization problems by providing just the right amount of protection and reinforcement, short-term or permanent, for almost any application. We can tailor a solution that fits your need, slope and soil conditions, as well as your budget.

Resolving Detention Pond Problems
Stabilizing pond slopes immediately after excavation saves money and avoids Storm Water Quality permitting problems. End-of-project regrading, mucking out — and friction between owners and contractors over who pays for repairs brought on by rainfall erosion damage are eliminated as well.

Replacing Concrete in Channels with Vegetation
A state of the art High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat offers the armoring characteristics of concrete paving or riprap on slopes and in channels, at a fraction of the cost of concrete. Long-term maintenance costs are greatly reduced and the aesthetics of a grassy slope create a visual respite from the ugly concrete alternatives.
