Schooled in architecture, with a career spanning both the construction and high technology industries, Bob has founded, co-founded or led a number of innovative new companies to success at regional, national and international levels, by establishing a dominant footprint in emerging markets.
In the sustainability arena, Bob led the formation of the Houston Land/Water Sustainability Forum (HLWSF) in 2007 and has served as its Steering Committee Chair since inception. The HLWSF has been instrumental in the adoption, adaptation and implementation of Low Impact Development in the Houston area and has achieved local, regional and national recognition, from the EPA, and others for its unique, market-driven approach to driving change.
Bob is a multi-term member of the Board of the South Central Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA), and is a recipient of that organization’s Sustained Contributor Award. He has served on the Small Business Advisory Council of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), the Steering Committee of the Environmental Forum of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America, the Board of Directors of the Associated General Contractors-Houston, the national Stormwater Committee of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) where he was vice chair of the Focus on Innovation subcommittee, and currently serves on the Advisory Committee of the national Stormwater Technology Testing and Evaluation for Product and Practices (STEPP) Workgroup led by WEF and the USEPA. He’s also currently serving on the Board of Cy-Fair Christian Church.
