Stabilization

stabiilzation-bayou-7

Our Slope Stabilization and Turf Establishment products and services are proven to surpass all hydraulically applied mulch products and temporary erosion control blankets, and have led a movement toward more cost-efficient and effective hydraulically-applied techniques. We utilize the finest hydraulically applied products and technologies available, focusing on creating a healthy, sustainable stand of grass that resists erosion, enhances property value and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Our topsoil alternative product is designed to accelerate the development of depleted soils/substrates with low organic matter, low nutrient levels and limited biological activity. In addition, this Biotic Soil Media provides an abundant source of organic matter and soil building components to quickly modify soil chemistry, and establish vegetation that lasts.

How Do We Do It?

Construction EcoServices has adopted Five Fundamental Practices as the surest way achieve these objectives. Integrating them into a process that entails proper planning, documentation and execution ensures success on the projects we undertake.

  1. Assessing & Creating Optimal Soil Conditions

Soil testing provides essential information to determine what adjustments, if any, need to be made to assure a more favorable growing environment for faster, more complete vegetative growth and sustainable establishment.

Construction EcoServices provides FREE soil testing to help our clients create the foundation for a successful project.

  1. Picking the Right Plant Species

It is essential to select plant species that are adapted to project locations, site conditions, intended use, project seasonality and maintenance requirements. CES and its suppliers can put clients in touch with agronomy experts who are qualified to help select the right plant species to meet the needs of their projects.

  1. Selecting the Correct Erosion Control Material

The right cover is necessary to protect both seed and soil, considering the erosion control product’s effectiveness, ability to facilitate growth and the functional longevity required for that protection. Our supplier, Profile Products is the leading supplier of hydraulically applied erosion control technologies, erosion control blankets and turf reinforcement mats; and as a result, is experienced in helping you balance natural variables and product attributes to effectively achieve project success.

  1. Ensuring Proper Installation

Installing the agronomic additives and erosion control products in accordance with the manufacturer’s mixing and application guidelines will maximize their performance to meet project requirements. CES and our suppliers provide on-site consultation to assure the products selected are properly installed in accordance with all guidelines.

  1. Follow-up Inspections and Maintenance Practices

Continually monitoring how projects are progressing is the best way to make sure all site requirements and compliance issues are being addressed. Maintenance may be required to mitigate unexpected challenges. CES professionals can coordinate all inspections. Subsequent inspections can be arranged, and maintenance activities conducted after significant precipitation or other potentially damaging weather events.

Pond Stabilization

Plan ahead. Do it right the first time. We GUARANTEE Results.

FREE Soil Testing To ensure long term, sustainable growth, Construction EcoServices (CES) will perform site specific soil analysis at NO COST. This testing will indicate: soil pH, total dissolved salts, sodium absorption ratio, organic matter, sodium, and soil composition. With this information, CES can provide a soil specific recipe of prescriptive agronomic soil amendments which will be blended with mulch, seed and fertilizer to ensure sustainable vegetation even in very challenging situations.

Specialized Mulches: CES uses only the finest mulch products which “bind” to the pond slopes. This provides erosion control and ensures that the mulch, seed and fertilizer will not be washed away during rain events.

Top Soil Alternative: When good top soil is unavailable on site, and/or is too expensive to import and spread on the slopes, CES can hydraulically apply Biotic Soil Media which will create a rich growth zone for germination and successful turf establishment.

GUARANTEED Results: Using these proven methods of soil preparation and the appropriate mulch products, CES can establish initial and sustainable growth when adequate moisture is present.
